Namaqualand

Namaqualand is an area of the Northern Cape which covers an area of around 170,000 miles sq. The Orange river runs through Namaqualand dividing it in two. Although it is an arid area, Namaqualand is a popular place for tourists to visit in the spring when for a short time, the area is covered in a stunning array of colours during the flower season.
