Just a short 15 minute drive from the coastal port of Durban in KwaZulu Natal, this beach village is a magnet for families looking for a place to rest while still being close enough to the bustling city of Durban (where you should not miss the uShaka Marine World). The main beach is book ended by the stretch of coastline locals refer to as Dolphin Beach (for its regular visits from these sea mammals and further up, the Umhlanga lagoon).
